Judy Mainwaring

This is the Gallery of our Competition Secretary, Judy Mainwaring. She has been a photographer since she was a child, her father was also a keen photographer and inspired Judy with his passion for the hobby. He bought her first camera, and then later, her first autofocus camera. She joined Shropshire Photographic Society in 1998 and quickly became an influential member of the club. She now organises the PAGB Approved BPE National Exhibition, the Shrewsbury Open Photography Exhibition. Photography is her lifetime passion, she feels it's how she has left her mark on the world and is never happier than when she is talking about the subject. She regularly judges at local clubs and gives talks about her photography. Favourite subjects are wildlife, landscape, people, and photos with atmosphere.
